We would like to introduce you to Mike Pavelko, an International Account Manager and integral part of the thriving international relocation team. Mike started at William B. Meyer, Inc. on the trucks as a mover during his summers home from Western Connecticut State University, where he earned his degree in Business Management. Making the move from domestic to international, Mike has gone from steady, stable summers on the trucks, to the dynamic pace of servicing the international relocation community. Since Mike came on board over six years ago, international moving has become one of William B. Meyer, Inc.’s largest growth areas.
No stranger to a streamlined process, Mike keeps MEYER’s clients moving right along with his expertise in the logistics of international transitions. Mike calls upon his strength of skills in multi-tasking and time management: he is a self-proclaimed workaholic and always gets the job done for our expansive customer-base. Beyond account management, Mike helps coordinate AR/AP invoice processing for the international relocation team.
Mike has had some admirable achievements during his tenure with William B. Meyer, Inc., including support of our FIDI/FAIM certification from the FIDI Global Alliance, an excellence in international moving accreditor. He worked with the entire International Relocation team to achieve this industry-defining accreditation. He was also recognized as a proud winner of the Leadership in Values (LIV) Award in the first quarter of 2018, an employee recognition program for members who go above and beyond in displaying our core values. Mike was honored for his dependability and ability to exercise integrity at work. These achievements are only the highlights of an exceptional career that Mike has forged at William B. Meyer, Inc. over the years.
In Mike’s own words, “The stability of our 4th generation family-owned company shows through its 100 plus years of success in business. No two days present the same challenge here at William B. Meyer, Inc. and solving our customers unique transport problems every day keeps the job exciting.”
Among his many critical responsibilities for William B. Meyer, Inc., you can find Mike developing new procedures, reporting to management, and coordinating efficient processes for the international team. Outside of work, you can most definitely find Mike with his dog, a terrier named Jack Daniels. And of course, Mike is a fan of poker. Forget four-of-a-kind; Mike Pavelko is one-of-kind and everyone at William B. Meyer, Inc. is happy to have him on the job!
