Brian Varis has been part of the William B. Meyer, Inc. team for three years as an International Move Coordinator. Before joining our team, Brian completed a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
This past February 2019, he attended the FIDI ‘Essentials in International Moving’ seminar in Jacksonville, FL. This seminar’s objectives were to give attendees a better knowledge and understanding of all aspects of international moves, help develop their management qualities, and provide an opportunity to meet their industry peers.
Brian was joined by 25 other students from around the world. During the seminar, both interim and final examinations were conducted to evaluate their overall knowledge and progress. Assessments were also made at the seminar on Brian’s leadership qualities. The evaluation measured Brian’s alertness, curiosity, judgement, and participation during the course. Due to his strong performance, Brian was honored as the Top Student in the class! To celebrate this great achievement, the FIDI Academy has, with all expenses paid, invited Brian to the 2020 FIDI Conference in Osaka, Japan.
This meaningful achievement also reflects his ability to support the international move team here at William B. Meyer, Inc. Soon after returning from the seminar, Brian was promoted to International Account Manager. This accomplishment was earned for hard work over the last three years, his attention to detail and his growth towards becoming an integral part of our team.
William B. Meyer, Inc. would like to congratulate Brian Varis for all that he has accomplished this past quarter; truly embodying the MEYER values. Brian and his efforts have helped build a strong brand reputation for our company in the FIDI Alliance both in the U.S. and abroad. Great work, Brian!
